About Our Winery
Our story begins with a love of wine and a desire to share the wine experience with others. A small vineyard in Pekin IL and a production space nearby were established in May 2016. In the spring of 2019, the city of Washington Illinois welcomed us with open arms and our new vineyard, production facility and tasting room construction began.

Bob Barry, owner and winemaker, has won numerous awards for both Amateur and Professional wines.
The Illinois State Fair competition, summer of 2016 resulted in 2 Gold and 6 Silver medals.
The National American Wine Society competition in November 2016 awarded a Double Gold for our Tres - Sangiovese, 8 Silver and 2 Bronze medals.
Our first Commercial submission to the Illinois State Fair, 2018 was very successful; our Strawberry wine took a Gold medal and the Top Fruit Wine in the State award, Traminette took Gold, and our Leon Millot and Seyval Blanc won Silver medals.
With meticulous recipe keeping, you can expect Bob to continually produce award winning wines.

Now that our doors are open, many guests have asked about our name - where did it come from and how do you say it? When Bob first experimented with amateur wines, the first three were reds: Pinot Noir (our Uno), Malbec (our Dos), and Sangiovese (our Tres). While we considered calling the winery 'Three Reds', Bob had spent most of his career near the border. So, in Spanish, Three Reds is Tres Rojas and the pronunciation is "trace ROW-haus".
But no matter how you say it, the wine tastes great!!

Our tasting room is open to the public Wednesday through Sunday. Ask about tours, private tasting sessions, and options to rent our space for your special events and parties. We look forward to meeting you.
